The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Public Records Division handles arrest reports and is the official contact for Sheriff-held booking material. Its administrative office is at 207 NE 1st Street, Jasper, Florida 32052. Call the main line at (386) 792-2004 or non-emergency dispatch at (386) 792-1001. Public office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Sheriff lists hamiltonso@hamiltonflsheriff.gov and provides an official contact form. Emergency calls belong with 911.
The jail facility is separately located at 3995 County Road 51 North, Jasper. For operational questions, Booking is (386) 792-7131 and Visitation/Control is (386) 792-7130. HCSO does not publish a special booking-photo fee or promise a fixed response time. Chapter 119 allows lawful duplication and extensive-use charges, so ask for a cost estimate before work begins.
Use the source that matches the question:
- For current or released county-jail results and booking photographs, begin with the official HCSO JAIL View.
- For a booking record or original electronic photograph not found online, contact the HCSO Public Records Division with the full name, approximate booking date, and booking number if known.
- For filed charges and the final case outcome, use the Hamilton County Clerk court-search gateway.
- For a person serving a Florida state sentence, use the Florida Department of Corrections offender search.
- For federal prison custody, check the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator, which does not publish booking photos.
- For current immigration detention and certain recent releases, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System.
- For general county booking-search guidance and a focused request checklist, consult the Hamilton County home guide.
A booking charge is an accusation and may later be amended, dismissed, or resolved by acquittal. The Clerk’s disposition, not a jail entry, provides the later court outcome.
